It’s been one whole year since I re-entered the blogosphere with the Wordpress hosted incarnation of Games of State. What better time for a retrospective look at the blog and what I’m wanting to do. In the past 12 months, I’ve received in the region of 7,200 page views. This number is a tad uncertain because it [...] Fantasy, sci-fi, steam-punk, cyber-punk, vampire gothic…genres which tend to repeat themselves based on a few sources of legendary status. These hallowed texts are, of course, works like Tolkien’s Middle Earth saga, Star Trek and Star Wars, Larry Niven’s Ringworld William Gibson’s Neuromancer and the works of Anne Rice – undoubtedly all great works of fiction, [...] This (as a rule) isn’t a personal blog, because my personal blog is, frankly, painful to read because I’m a whiny bastard.
